Interface Summary

AttributeList Deprecated. This interface has been replaced by the SAX2 Attributes interface, which includes Namespace support.

DocumentHandler Deprecated. This interface has been replaced by the SAX2 ContentHandler interface, which includes Namespace support.

DTDHandler Receive notification of basic DTD-related events.

ErrorHandler Basic interface for SAX error handlers.

Locator Interface for associating a SAX event with a document location.

Package org.xml.sax Description

Provides the classes and interfaces for the Simple API for XML (SAX) which is a component of the Java API for XML Processing. SAX, the Simple API for XML, is a standard interface for event-based XML parsing, developed collaboratively by the members of the XML-DEV mailing list, currently hosted by OASIS.
